Bollywood is a nice up going film industry films are really getting so costly day by day because every producer want his or her film to do a record breaking success and every director want to make such a film which the viewers never saw before. This competition is shooting the budget of films to sky.

1. Blue, 2009

This movie costs $27 million and gives income of $12 million

It is on the top ranking of highly budget movies but unfortunately it  was totally flop. The expenses can be imagine by the fact that only Kylie Minogue was paid $1million just for doing one song. The cast of the movie which  includes Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, John Abraham and Sanjay Dutt proves the fact that it’s the most expensive movie in the ranking.

2. My Name Is Khan, 2010

This movie costs $21 million and gives income of $40million

In this movie Shahrukh khan appears as abnormal person with the Kajol. 
Its director Karan johar signed this movie with Sony for $21 millions but total expense on the production  came only $8.5 millions. It is the 2nd highly expensive movies.

3. Love Story 2050, 2008

This movie costs $17.1 million and gives income of $5.3 million

It is a Sci-fi movie in which director tries to show the future life. Priyanka chopra was the main star. This movie could make place in heart of people at all. Only cause of its popularity is that its one of the most expensive movies in the Bollywood history.

This movie was totally flop. The cost of this movie is cause due to hiring to special effect artist from America and taking the best stars of Bollywood like Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan. The effects in the events like horse riding, sword fighting were really nice. 

5. Kahbie Alvida Naa Kehna, 2006

This movie costs $15.8 million and gives income of $25 million 
This movie entirely shot in New York. this movie goes really high in box office ranking but unfortunately it didn’t made its so many fans from public.stars like  Amitabh and Abhishek Bachcan, Shahrukh Khan, Priety Zinta, and Rani Mukerjee and the director Karan Johar put there best which makes its budget this much high.

6. Ghajini, 2008

This movie costs $13.8 million and gives income of $38 millions 
This is an action movie in which Aamir khan appears in totally different look and played the role of the character ghajini. After the death of her girlfriend who take revenge from the murders while having a disease called short term memory loss.

7. Singh is King, 2008

This movie costs $12.8 millions and gives income of $19 millions. 
Shooting in Sydney and Egypt and the presence of super hit starts like Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif made its budget to reach at skies. This movie is beautiful combination of comedy and love story.

8. Jodhaa Akbar, 2008

This movie costs $10 million and gives income of $ 27.5 million 
Every scene and every song of this super hit love story are still on the tongue tips of thousands of its fans. Theme of this movie is based upon the luxurious life of emperor of 16 century in India. Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai are the main star of the movie. It’s real looking war scenes and lavish sets make its budget so bulky.

This movie cots $10 million and give income of $15.1 millions 
This film was the super hit of time it releases in 2006. In this movie the hero Hrithik Roshan plays a role of Krissh who lives in rural area to hide his special powers to get popularized in among people. Its stunning stunts, Costumes and wide variety of amazing locations are the basically made its budget this much

10. Om Shanti Om

This movie costs $8.6 million and gives income of $22.6 millions. 
It releases in 2007.  Its eye-catching sets, Locations best cream of stars boost its budget to high skies. It was the hit movie of its time but even then it was not even near to the most expensive movie of Bollywood.
